Custom Labor
This customer needed assembly of a metal storage shed. Note that a base (floor frame & floor decking) does not come with the metal storage building kits. We first installed a vapor-barrier, then the frame was built - using pressure-treated wood. Then pressure-treated decking installed onto the frame. The metal building was then assembled on the base.
The manufacturer estimates 2-people for 7 hours - to assemble the building, plus another 2 hours for building a base. This is a total of 16 man-hours estimated by the building manufacturer.
TNT Buildings performed the assembly for the customer in a total of 9 hours (6-hours for 1 person, then 1.5 hours with 2 workers). At current labor rates, we saved the customer $315 in labor vs the manufacturer's estimated assembly time.

Room Renovations
The following photos are of work that I assisted with as a contractor for "Men in Hats" construction contracting. The customer is a company that just moved to a new location, and needed some major office rennovations prior to moving in. Descriptions are below each photo.
This office received a 2-tone paint job, then oak paneling, chair-rail, and crown-molding was installed, stained, and shellaced. |

The company's entranceway was plain-looking. So they asked for a fountain to be installed in the planter area. |
Here's the finished fountain. It has a heavy liner, a fiberglass molded boulder fountain, and water pump. The outer edge of the fountain area was lined with slate stone mortered in - also included it a slate capping of the fountain area. |
Two Offices were filled out with oak paneling, baseboard, chair-rail, and crown molding. |

The party room started out as one large open area. The customer requested that we build (a) a kitchen area with 3' tall cabinet area; and a full height wall for the wall-mount cabinets and microwave. (b) A hallway to block off view of the restroom entrance. As a bonus, the archway was made for the entrance. (c) We cut out new door openings for the rest rooms and installed 6-panel doors that were stained and shellaced. |
Other Miscellaneous Work
Also contracting with Men in Hats
This client was doing MAJOR rennovations to the exterior of their home. We (a) Removed the old fence and retaining walls (b) Rebuilt the retaining wall, and trucked in 12 dump-truck loads of fill dirt to level the yard. (c) Chipped out a failing pool patio deck, (d) rebuilt the fence, (e) re-poured the pool decking. Mortered in slate around the pool, and installed a fountain that flows into the pool. |

Here is an outdoor firepit built for a client in a rural area. Great for sitting around with family and friends. |
